I have a passion for Let's Plays, and could not find a Let's Play community that I thought had good potential, so I created the Let's Player's Guild [LPG].

I worship Jesus Christ, and enjoy deep discussions. I live in the USA and have had minimal education, yet I am skilled in debate. I recently bought a house with a fair sized backyard, so my wife and I are enjoying gardening and having our own place. I also have a passion for skateboarding and am a musician at heart.

There is more. In fact, I do too many things, so I try to limit some of my hobbies in creative ways where I can still be satisfied with them.

I have learned the more my understanding grows complex, the more I value simplicity. So I value simplicity and hope to run LPG by it.

I can relate to the "I do too many things" comment!! Now that I have children, I've had to really rain my list of hobbies in!!!

Simplicity is bliss! Getting it is complicated 😂

I agree.

When I was a kid, I valued complexity and technicality over simplicity; and while those things are certainly necessary and can be cool, I think simplicity should generally be aimed for. It was a big life moment for me when I realized there is value in simplicity.

I was just thinking about the LPG and thought I'd make another post to keep it active. I was just sitting here thinking about your comment, and then I started thinking about simplicity 'vs' complexity in words.

The more complex our ideas are, generally the more words we need to use to share them. But then, we create new words that capture complex ideas, to make sharing those complex ideas simple! Unfortunately, if you learn a ton of complex words from dictionaries, using them will probably just confuse a bunch of people 😄
