Introducing: Shielzy

Hey there! I'm Kade (aka Shielzy)!

I love playing games and entertaining so Let's Plays is a perfect fit!! I like to take my time in games, exploring and immersing myself in the story - at the time of writing I'm playing Outer Wilds and Life Is Strange on the channel.

Outside of YouTube I am a father of two and devoted husband. I have an interest in acting and voice acting although have never pursued either (perhaps one day). I've lived in the United Kingdom for 11 years now but I'm an Australian at heart. I enjoy the seaside, campfires, and acoustic guitars.

I'm fully behind what @Rudometkin is trying to build here and his Mission Statement to "Strengthen the Let's Play community by producing quality content"!

I also like to take my time in games to explore and be immersed in the world. Currently watching your Outer Wilds playthrough now. As I've mentioned earlier, Hal in that first episode is hilarious, but it's because of his added goofiness from the voice and quirkiness you gave him.

I would like to do voice acting work, too, but I haven't thought about it in a long time. Places like the GameMaker Community forums are probably where I would go if I were looking to join a team to start out in voice acting. Unfortunately, projects over there have a high chance of being dropped, just because Game Development is hard work to complete.

Do you ever play acoustic guitar? I learned with an electric, but eventually picked up an acoustic, and enjoy it from time to time.

Unfortunately the voices dropped off - you'll have to let me know how you feel about that when it happens!

I'll check that GameMaker community out for sure! I'd like to dip my toes in first to see how it goes before committing to classes/agencies or anything like that.

I rarely make time too. I can just about play a handful of cords - no full songs yet! But maybe in the future if I get more time. I just love the way acoustic guitars sound!!
